In the heart of Basilicata, where the olive trees embellish the hills nestled among the Dolomites, our history begins.

It was 1968 when grandfather Battista Di Perna set up his oil mill in Campomaggiore.

Since then, every year, we have re-enacted the same rite: mixing only two varieties of olives, Justa and Majatica, we produce an extra virgin olive oil that tells about our long-established tradition and passion.

1968

Grandfather Battista set up his oil mill in Campomaggiore that soon became a resource for all the villages in the Lucanian Dolomites.

1989

The oil mill was totally renovated to face the increased production needs. Di Perna oil is more and more popular.

1993

The first label for the Di Perna Old Mill brand was created. Unpackaged oil is only a thing of the past.

2011

New resources and a new loop system are introduced. We open the terrace for events and tastings.

2016

The showroom is opened in Potenza, the starting point of our oil’s journey through the world.

We select only first-rate olives, handpicked and pressed within very few hours in our mill in Campomaggiore.

The laboratory is equipped with a modern cold pressing loop system.

The Mill

Located in Campomaggiore, our mill is surrounded by the unspoiled nature of Basilicata, protected by the Lucanian Dolomites and by the love for our land.
